Sometime we feel the need of secondary internet connection even if we do have a stable wire-line connection for our laptop. I always have the feeling that wires increase the complexity of usage. No wire means, lot of enjoyment. It’s quite rightly so as you can move your laptop in any direction without moving your smartphone if you get the pairs done. No USB cable, nothing. We will be using Wi-Fi of both our smartphone and laptop to get the pairing done. It’s regardless to say that you must have data pack subscription and all the settings done in your phone. What’s next? Read below-
Turn Tethering & Portable Hotspot On
Turn on data connection of your smartphone. Now go to settings-> Data Usage_ More->Tap on Turn on Tethering & Portable Hotspot on->Check the box of Portable Wi-Fi hotspot
Portable Wi-Fi hotspot on
Turn on Wi-Fi of your laptop. Search for open connections and complete the pairing. Once the pairing is done open browser in your laptop and start browsing internet.
Wi-Fi hotspot turns your phone into a hotspot from where you can share data connection in other devices. You can do the same steps if you are sharing it with other smartphone and any other devices having Wi-Fi.
Note: Alternatively you can use USB tethering or Bluetooth tethering. Bluetooth tethering can be done wirelessly as Bluetooth itself is an wireless connectivity while USB tethering requires USB cable.
